Map Comparison

The map above shows a map of the United States. It lists many developed cities on it. You can see that it has Lexington along with numbers that are spaced out. These numbers show how long it takes to get to that place. For example, it takes 2 hours to get to St. Louis from Lexington. You could speculate that this map shows a connection between Lexington and the rest of each states developed cities. It shows that it is important to recognize other cities. It also encourages you travel to other cities because of the markers that show the hours it takes to get there. The map of Lexington itself is very complex and confusing. It has many different lines and shapes which makes it hard to tell what things are. The map in comparison to the rest of the space makes the space seem large. The open space is small compared to the city.
